Job summary

Volumetric Building Companies is seeking a skilled Rough Framer to join the construction team in Berwick, PA. You will build the essential skeleton of structures—walls, roofs, and floors—ensuring components are level, plumb, and built to exact specifications.

The role offers a 5:00am–1:30pm shift with hourly pay between $18 and $28. Applicants should have rough carpentry experience, be able to read blueprints, and uphold safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in rough carpentry or framing; apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Erect structural framing for residential or commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints/CAD drawings for dimensions and materials.
• Construct forms for foundations and retaining walls; measure and cut lumber with precision.
• Install frames, subflooring, and sheathing; ensure alignment and stability.
• Maintain on-site safety and assist with scaffolding and temporary structures.
