Qualifications

• Experience in rough carpentry or framing required; apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• Proficient with power tools and hand tools.
• Strong math skills for angles and material calculations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and local building codes.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse or construction environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Erect the skeleton of buildings including studs, joists, and roof trusses.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings to determine dimensions and materials.
• Construct forms for pouring concrete foundations and walls.
• Measure, mark, and cut lumber accurately with power and hand tools.
• Install rough window/door frames, subflooring, and sheathing.
• Set up temporary supports and ensure on-site safety.
• Inspect framework for defects and perform repairs.
