PSS LLC is seeking Rough Carpenters/Plumbers for a 2,500-acre Data Center project in Hubbard, Texas, between Dallas and Waco. Work involves building and maintaining temporary structures, installing plumbing for temporary offices and restrooms, and installing safety features across the site.

The role is project-based with pay of $26.00–$30.00 per hour, 5–6 days per week, 10 hours per day, plus a per diem of $95 per day worked.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of rough carpentry experience.
• 1+ years of rough plumbing experience.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, maintain and remove temporary wooden structures.

PSS LLC is currently taking applications for Rough Carpenters/Plumbers for a 2,500-acre Data Center project located in Hubbard, Texas between Dallas and Waco. This role will respond to work orders requiring construction, repair, and maintenance of temporary wooden structures, signs, barricades, and forms in addition to installing plumbing for temporary offices and restrooms throughout the worksite.

Job Type: Project based
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Duration 5-6 days per week, 10 hours per day
Per Diem: $95 per day worked with 7-days paid if full weekly schedule is worked. Must live 65 miles or greater from the site.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, maintain and remove temporary wooden structures such as ramps, stairs, walkways, handrails, frames for running cords overhead, etc.
• Construct, install, and remove temporary safety barricades, guardrails, and temporary enclosures.
• Construct, install, and remove temporary site signage, safety notices, and directional indicators across the site footprint.
• Install and remove temporary plumbing systems for construction office trailers, including supply and waste lines.
• Hook up water and drainage systems for temporary on-site restrooms and sanitation stations.
• Maintain site utilities by inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing temporary water loops and lines
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for everyone on site.
• Use basic carpentry and plumbing tools and equipment under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
• Properly maintain and wear PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Read, write, and speak the English language.
• 2+ years of rough carpentry experience
• 1+ years of rough plumbing experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects up to 80lbs, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this role.
• Personal transportation to the job site is required.
• Must be able to navigate a computer or mobile device to complete online training and onboarding.
• You will be responsible for securing your own housing while assigned to the project. Hubbard is a small rural town, so most housing will be found in local RV parks near Hubbard, hotels in Waco, and apartments in Hillsboro and Mexia.
