Job summary

Excel Custom Decks is seeking a Rough Carpenter with basic knowledge of building decks, patios, pergolas, sunrooms and 3-4 season rooms. Candidates should have at least 2+ years of experience, with reliability and transportation to job sites.

Position is full-time, with a schedule 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday, and occasional Sunday evenings for show booth teardown. Hours typically 40–50 per week, year-round, with no layoffs, and competitive hourly pay of $25–$45.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in carpentry or foreman-level roles.
• Basic knowledge of building decks, patios, pergolas, sunrooms, and 3-4 season rooms.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Construct decks, patios, pergolas, sun & screen rooms as required.
• Assist foreman in project setup and material handling.
