Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is seeking an experienced rotorcraft pilot to join our Flight Operations team as a customer-facing instructor. You will deliver comprehensive ground school instruction and advanced flight training to customer personnel, while conducting production test flights, ferry missions, and demonstrations.

Administrative tasks and documentation complete a small portion of the role. The position requires FAA medical certification, a commercial helicopter license with IFR and CFI

Qualifications

• FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
• Commercial helicopter licence, IFR rating and CFI rating.
• BS/BA degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to conduct flight training at night.
• Willing to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ground and flight instruction for customer personnel (75%).
• Perform flight training as instructor pilot, including normal/abnormal/emergency procedures (20%).
• Coordinate with QA, Flight Line and Flight Operations on results.
• Prepare pre-/post-flight docs and monthly flight logs/reports.
• Assist customers with flight-related maintenance questions (5%).
• Participate in global workshops setting pilot training standards.
