Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking rotor-wing pilots to provide high quality air medical transport in a safe, efficient manner. You will be integral to flight operations, maintain aircraft readiness, and complete required paperwork while staying current with FARs and company policies.

The ideal candidate holds FAA Commercial Rotorcraft, rotorcraft instrument rating, and Class II Medical Certificate with 2,000 total flight hours (1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 PIC, 200 night hours).

Qualifications

  • Current FAA Commercial Certificate with rotorcraft.
  • Helicopter instrument rating.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • 2,000 Total flight hours.
  • 1,500 Total Helicopter Hours.
  • 1,000 total helicopter PIC hours.
  • 1,000 Hours Turbine.
  • Minimum of 200 helicopter night flight hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a schedule as set forth by the company.
  • Ensures aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, including FAR and Company requirements, aircraft cleanliness and flight crew readiness.
  • Completes duty shift changes, load manifests, duty/time sheets within scheduled due dates.
  • Engages in ongoing training and flight/gound training activities.
  • Disseminates pertinent flight operations information to shift pilots per policy.
  • Maintains professional conduct at all times.
  • Attends required meetings and training/check-flights outside normal shifts.
  • Upholds company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Maintains safety as the primary concern.
