Job summary

Life Flight Network seeks a Rotor Wing Pilot in Walla Walla, WA to safely operate aircraft for patient care. The role requires extensive flight time, FAA rotorcraft certification with instrument rating, and strong safety and communications skills.

Responsibilities include flight planning, passenger and cargo loading, weather assessment, and diligent logkeeping. Travel across LFN’s service area is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating
• 2000 hours Total Time required
• 1500 hours Pilot in Command
• 1000 R/W Turbine hours required
• 100 hours instrument time preferred, 50 hours required
• 100 hours of nighttime required
• Mountain experience preferred; evaluated case-by-case
• Must have and maintain FAA second class flight physical
• Performs pre- and post-flight inspections; plans flights; assists in loading passengers, baggage and cargo; analyzes weather conditions
• Maintains logs and records; prepares written reports
• Travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area is required
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
