Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Fayette, AL is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain rotor-wing aircraft and ensure flight safety. The role requires an A&P license, at least two years of turbine helicopter experience, and ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call rotations.

The AMT will manage inspections, repairs, and FAA paperwork while coordinating with the Lead Technician and other teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient transport services.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine-powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• FAA Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including inspections, repairs and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and update the equipment tracking log; document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and information security standards.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members to facilitate maintenance activities.
