TrafFix Devices is seeking a Roto Mold Associate to set up roto molds, operate molding equipment, and ensure products meet quality standards. The role involves assembling and disassembling molds, removing excess material, labeling finished items, and assisting with color changes in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Candidates will inspect products, perform defect tests, and maintain safety and process guidelines while contributing to timely production and quality goals.

Job Summary:The Roto Mold Associate is responsible for setting up roto molds for production and removing finished products from the molds, while ensuring that quality specifications are met.

Essential Functions:

• Assembles and disassembles molds.
• Monitors roto mold machines while operating.
• Removes and cleans excess material.
• Inspects product for quality control.
• Tests product for defects with water or air.
• Assists with material, color and product change procedures.
• Customizes and labels finished products using stencils, placing and drilling decals.
• Cuts wires and wraps product.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills are important to work effectively with other team members.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Must be able to bend, twist, and reach while handling objects and using power and hand tools.
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis, and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Will be working in a warehouse environment and may be exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather conditions. There will also be frequent exposure to dirt and dust.
• Exposure to moderate noise levels in the workplace for the majority of the day, due to the constant use of forklift and hand-held power tools.
