Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) seeks ROTC undergraduate interns to support national security research areas such as fusion, laser tech, stockpile stewardship, and HPC. The role requires full-time on-site presence and inclusion of military branch, rank, and clearance level in the application.

Selected interns will assist scientists, conduct experiments, collect data, and present results while attending ROTC lectures and workshops. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be an active ROTC member
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in physics, engineering, CS, or related field
• Ability to apply basic engineering/science/physics principles

Responsibilities

• Perform technical assignments with increasing complexity and support scientists
• Conduct research under supervision
• Assist in conducting and documenting experiments
• Collect and analyze data
• Document and present results
• Attend ROTC program lectures/workshops
• Present work via presentations or posters
• Perform duties as assigned
