Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking participants for its Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (LDP), a two-year rotational track across planning, procurement, customer service, logistics and data analysis.

The program places associates in 6–8 month rotations, builds SAP supply chain process knowledge, and aims to place graduates into full-time roles that match business needs and individual goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related business field required.
• 1+ years of relevant work (internship experience applicable).

Responsibilities

• Participate across Avient’s businesses in roles such as: Finished Goods Planner, Raw material procurement, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Logistics analyst.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams within operations and supply chain.
• Work with business teams to resolve supply chain related issues.
• Hone forecasts for use in sales and operations planning, interact with marketing, sales, and brand/product management.
• Balance inventory with internal goals, customer service levels and freight costs.
• Deliver world-class customer service, while meeting internal goals.
• Help advance continuous improvement initiatives, to maintain or become supplier of choice.
• Other projects as assigned.
