Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Rotational Project Engineer to gain broad experience through formal rotations across Operations and Estimating. The role directs, coordinates, and oversees planning, organization, control, integration and completion of assigned projects and tasks.

During the program you will participate in estimating and operations rotations, read blueprints, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with subcontractors, prepare reports, and lead meetings to capture actions and decisions.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Construction, Engineering or Management preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes amendments and/or change orders.
• Discusses schedule and budget with client, architect and Engineer.
• Develops key vendor list to ensure current database of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepares project reports and schedules per company guidelines.
• Attends pre-construction and/or bid meetings.
• Leads weekly status meetings and distributes minutes.
