TJ Sheehan Distributing in Liverpool, NY is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to gain hands-on experience across inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping, routing, and delivery management. You will participate in structured rotations and develop leadership skills while supporting daily business activities.

The program emphasizes training across all major Operations functions, adherence to safety standards, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience considered
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to learn company inventory, warehouse, and transportation management systems
• Willingness to participate in hands-on assignments and work alongside employees across all levels of the organization
• Ability to travel to other company locations as needed

Responsabilités

• Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate records and warehouse systems
• Gain hands-on experience in product receiving, storage, replenishment, and order selection
• Support daily route planning and delivery logistics and prepare shipping documents
• Learn dispatch procedures, delivery performance management, and safety objectives
• Participate in rotational assignments to understand all major Operations functions
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
