Job summary

ThermoSafe Technologies Inc. in Beecher, IL is seeking a Production Associate to operate rotational molding equipment and manufacture polyethylene parts. You will support operational excellence with hands-on skills, attention to detail, and reliable execution.

The role reports to the Production Shift Supervisor and requires ability to follow procedures, monitor machinery, perform routine mold maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; or related experience/training.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow multi-step instructions with many variables.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for operation of equipment per company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitor molding machinery and related equipment; report problems to supervisors.
• Perform mold maintenance to ensure quality molded parts.
• Strive to maximize output from the machinery and maintain efficiency.
• Keep tools and equipment in optimum working condition.
• Keep jigs, fixtures, and molds clean, waxed and properly adjusted; report repairs.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Recommend procedural changes as necessary.
• Practice safe operation and handling of all equipment and materials.
