Job summary

Butterball’s 12-month rotational Management Trainee Program offers recent graduates a pathway to explore our operations from live production to distribution. You’ll rotate across departments, build cross-functional relationships, and develop leadership skills to prepare for a full-time production leadership role.

You’ll gain experience in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, with housing and relocation support and exposure to Butterball's safety, quality standards, and values.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Interest in leadership and developing others.
• Adaptable and comfortable navigating new environments, challenges, and learning opportunities.
• Demonstrated leadership, internship, co-op, campus involvement, work experience, or other developmental experiences.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through multiple departments to gain broad exposure to Butterball's operations.
• Build relationships with leaders and team members across the company.
• Engage in leadership development sessions and apply learnings.
• Complete assignments that strengthen leadership, business, and decision-making skills.
• Maintain a learning journal documenting experiences and leadership development.
