Job summary

Smithfield Foods seeks candidates for the Career Foundation Program (CFP). This rotational program provides recent graduates with exposure across Sales, Operations, Hog Procurement, Distribution Center, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance tracks.

CFP Associates rotate 18–24 months per track, work with mentors, and may apply for open roles after 12 months. Travel and relocation are part of the program, with strong teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or current student with expected graduation)
• Be able to relocate 1–2 times during rotation
• Must be professional, discreet and able to self-manage time from remote locations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Travel up to 15–25% of time; periodic overnight travel
• Currently authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced environment
• Team oriented and respectful in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Contribute to department goals through problem-solving and leadership on projects
• Support rotations across tracks and learn multiple functional areas
• Pursue open positions after 12 months while continuing rotations
