Smithfield Foods invites recent graduates to join its Career Foundation Program (CFP), a function-specific rotation designed to help you explore business tracks and launch a career within Smithfield.

Rotations span tracks like Sales & Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Hog Procurement, and more, with mentorship from senior leaders, mentors, and Talent Acquisition Specialists. After 12 months, opportunities open while rotations continue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university; or currently enrolled college student with an anticipated graduation by end of current semester.
• Be able to relocate one to two times during rotation.
• Must possess a high level of professionalism, discretion and ability to self-manage his/her time from remote locations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Travel up to 15-25% of time. Periodic overnight travel required.
• Currently authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid state driver license with acceptable driving record (depending on rotational track)
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in problem-solving and take on leadership roles for projects across rotations.
• Support department goals and contribute high-level results during assignments.
• Receive guidance from mentors, managers, and Talent Acquisition Specialists.
• Prepare for internal job searches after 12 months in the program.
