Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is seeking a Production Operator to rotate through soil and clean production areas, learning to receive, sort, wash, dry, iron and load linens for delivery to hospitals. The role involves adapting to area needs and meeting safety standards.

Employees will rotate to learn all equipment, with a learning curve of 2–5 days per position, and must be willing to perform other duties as assigned while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills required.
• Willing to rotate between jobs as needed.
• Ability to learn and operate production equipment as needed.
• Able to lift heavy bags up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through soil and clean production areas to sort and prepare linens.
• Sort soil for washing and load carts for Clean lines.
• Hand fold and stack linens, placing them on carts for transport.
• Operate ironer and feeder as part of the processing line.
• Shipping Clerk duties: weigh carts, record data, and prepare shipments; assist other positions when needed.
