Job summary

Pennymac is seeking an early-career professional to join its Corporate University Rotational Program. This full-time, in-person program offers 12-month rotations across Finance, Capital Markets, Treasury, and Enterprise Risk Management, with a relocation path to Florida potential.

You will analyze data, build dashboards, and deliver strategic recommendations using Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI, preparing you for leadership in mortgage finance.

Qualifications

• Must graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related quantitative/business discipline, either prior to July 12, 2027 or within 18 months.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with modern AI tools (Cursor AI, Amazon Quick, Gemini) and data & analytics tools (SQL, Python, Excel (Advanced Modeling/Automation), Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake).
• Ability to apply structured, data-driven logic to solve complex business problems; strong written and verbal communication; highly adaptable and eager to learn new domain areas and software platforms.
• Bonus: GPA preferences for operational/strategic vs quantitative tracks

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 12-month rotational program across Finance, Capital Markets, Treasury, and Enterprise Risk Management.
• Analyze complex, unstructured financial and operational data to generate actionable insights and risk models.
• Automate workflows and build dashboards using Python/SQL and analytics tools to optimize reporting pipelines.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and support enterprise transformation.
• Present structured findings and financial models to leadership.
