Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP seeks a Field Service Technician (Rotator) to service natural gas compression equipment at customer sites. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support start-ups and commissioning with minimal supervision.

The role requires extensive travel, a 14‑day on/off rotation, and strong safety culture as you represent the company and maintain detailed field reports for multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Solid communication with field personnel and vendors.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and bulletins.
• Able to travel extensively and work rotating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and major maintenance on natural gas compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to restore performance.
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, commissioning, and optimization activities.
• Submit accurate maintenance reports, timesheets, and paperwork daily.
• Represent USA Compression professionally at customer locations and collaborate with teams.
