Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP, is seeking a Field Service Technician (14x14 Rotator) to maintenance and service compression equipment across multiple districts in the US. You will travel to customer sites, perform scheduled maintenance, and build strong customer relationships under minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, on-site work, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues. 14 days on/off rotation and on-call support are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with engines or heavy machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work a rotational schedule.
• Ability to work independently in outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues.
• Conduct engine overhauls, compressor rebuilds, and parts replacements.
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
• Submit accurate maintenance reports, timesheets, and paperwork daily.
