Charter Manufacturing Company invites applications for its Engineering Rotational Program in Shawano, WI. This structured, 12–18 month program develops future leaders across processes, production, and technical services.

Start is January 2027 for December 2026 graduates with internship experience preferred. You will rotate through Process Engineer, Production Shift Supervisor, and Technical Services/Commercial tracks while gaining hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering required.
• Graduation date of December 2026 expected.
• Internship, co-op, or related engineering experience preferred.
• High initiative with a passion for continuous improvement and results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate ideas effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical and operational foundation across manufacturing operations.
• Participate in shop-floor immersion to understand production processes and equipment.
• Lead and support process-improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Commercial teams.
• Gain exposure to automation, controls, and digital manufacturing technologies.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to improve performance.
• Document and standardize best practices for knowledge sharing and excellence.
