Pennymac invites graduates to join its Digital Technology Organization (DTO) Rotational Program as Engineers. You will rotate through front-end, back-end, and full-stack roles, gaining end-to-end development experience and mentorship.

Openings for January or June 2027 cohorts provide hands-on exposure to product teams and leadership, building a foundation for a successful technology career at Pennymac.

Qualifications

• Graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field; GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Available for start in January 2027 or June 2027 cohorts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, React, TypeScript) and Git experience.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL is desirable; understanding of AI/ML concepts is a plus.
• Experience with prompt engineering on platforms like ChatGPT/Copilot is beneficial.
• Interest in Mobile/Web UI/UX principles or a portfolio of personal apps/projects is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotations across various Application Development Teams, contributing to projects across sub-domains.
• Work with experienced engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality code in Scrum/Kanban environments.
• Analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to the team’s success.
• Communicate ideas, progress, and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on latest technologies and industry trends; bring fresh perspectives to work.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Pennymac’s culture and values.
• Perform other related duties as required.
