Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Engineer in Development for its three-year Engineering Development Program (EDP) in the United States. Based in Elyria, OH or Rockford, IL, you will rotate through Hardware Design, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, and Data Science to build critical skills while collaborating with peers and management.

You will participate in product development, sustainability initiatives, and research, with opportunities to design new tools and market applications for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field is required.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Apply the latest technologies, equipment, and research facilities to bring ideas to life.
• Product development, sustainability, and research responsibilities.
• Develop new products for customers, including plumbing and electrical tools, accessories, and new market applications.
