Job summary

Berkadia in Philadelphia is seeking a Rotational Analyst for a 12-month program across Mortgage Banking, Underwriting, Closing and Construction Management. You’ll partner with seasoned professionals, mentors, and leadership to learn the CRE business and prepare for permanent placement within HUD groups.

During rotations you’ll gain hands-on experience, participate in onboarding, and contribute to evaluating loan opportunities, preparing exhibits, and supporting closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in HUD Mortgage Banking origination team meetings and client calls.
• Review preliminary loan information and size transactions with the product originations team.
• Prepare borrower-engaged deals for handoff to the Underwriting Team.
• Assist in crafting project narratives and presenting potential new projects to HUD field offices.
• Support Closers in all aspects of deal closing and monitor closing documentation requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor loan underwriting tasks performed by offshore resources and external vendors.
• Evaluate closed construction loans and assist with Final Endorsement processes.
