Latham & Watkins LLP in Washington, D.C. is offering a Business Services Trainee position within our Office Administration team. This on-site role with potential hybrid flexibility begins the BST program in June 2027, requiring a bachelor’s degree by that date and a two-year commitment.

The program provides exposure to multiple departments through rotation and hands-on tasks. Responsibilities include supporting various business services areas, completing department projects, and maintaining high

Competenze

• A high school diploma or an equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree required by Summer 2027
• Prior work or internship experience, preferably
• Administrative experience and familiarity with professional services organizations, preferably

Mansioni

• Provide support to business services departments during a rotation schedule
• Participate in general business skills trainings led by managers, supervisors, or team members
• Shadow department members to gain exposure and insight into day-to-day tasks
• Provide support relevant to the department; assist with tasks supporting staff in the assigned department
• Complete projects as assigned to develop relevant skills
• Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external clients
• Utilize programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Access to file and track department records and create materials
• Collaborate globally with other Business Services Trainees on assigned projects
• Promote effective work practices, teamwork, and respect for co-workers
• Protect confidential and sensitive information that the firm retains
