Job summary

Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join a rotating specialty team in Mount Laurel, NJ. The role involves supporting multiple departments, including surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and more, with emphasis on anesthesia and patient care.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of veterinary tech experience, CVT preferred, and is comfortable fast-paced and cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• CVT certification preferred.
• Strong anesthesia experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled technical and nursing support across multiple specialty departments on a rotating basis.
• Float between Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Anesthesia, Radiology, ECC, Exotics and other areas.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia for procedures while maintaining patient safety.
• Support ECC triage, admits, and patient care during specialty downtime.
• Maintain medical records and client communication notes.
