Job summary

ADM in Quincy, IL is hiring a Material Handler on a full-time basis. The role includes loading and unloading railcars and trucks, hooking up hoses, and following SOPs to maintain safety. Training is provided for operating forklifts, trackmobiles, and other equipment.

You will also perform sampling, sealing, and basic mechanical tasks as part of daily duties. The position requires the ability to work rotating day and night shifts, overtime, and to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload railcars.
• Hook up hoses and operate valves.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality.
• Use fall protection when accessing top of cars.
• Operate small equipment such as forklifts and skid steers after training.
• Load and unload bulk oil trucks.
• Take accurate samples from loaded vessels and process prior to loading.
• General cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Move railcars using track equipment after training.
• Work rotating day/night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
