Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Rosemount, Minnesota to support production by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment.

This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills and basic electrical knowledge who enjoys keeping equipment running safely and efficiently, including documentation of maintenance activities. The position is a direct hire opportunity with a day and night shift on a rotating 3-2-2-3

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years mechanical maintenance experience.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, or robotics is a plus.
• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, motors, conveyors, and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair or replace defective parts and restore equipment to proper working condition.
• Complete routine maintenance, including lubrication, inspections, and belt replacements.
• Document maintenance activities through work orders and maintenance logs.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Communicate equipment issues and repair updates with the maintenance and production teams.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and machine guarding requirements.
• Assist with facility maintenance and other projects as needed.
