Job summary

Enloe Health in Northern California invites qualified Medical Assistants to join a rotating position with a home department, covering clinics as needed. The role supports patients inside and outside the clinic and reports to the Practice Manager.

Requirements include diploma/associate in healthcare, current Medical Assistant certification, CPR, and front-office experience for reception, scheduling, billing, and medical records.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program or formal medical service training program of the United States Armed Forces.
• Associates degree or higher in a clinical healthcare field and two years back office medical experience
• Currently certified as a Medical Assistant
• Front medical office experience to include: reception; registration, scheduling, billing and medical record functions
• Current CPR certification
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (required if employee qualified for the position)

Responsibilities

• Rotating Medical Assistant serves across Enloe clinics to cover vacancies or increases in workload.
• Reports to the Practice Manager who assigns work sites as needed; follows site supervisor guidance.
