Job summary

Air Liquide Large Industries U.S. LP is seeking a Rotating Equipment Expert in La Porte, TX.

The role concentrates on rotating machinery such as compressors, turbines, pumps and fans, with responsibility for reliability, maintenance planning and technical guidance across LI USA and regional teams. Qualified candidates will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in rotating machinery or 10+ years in related maintenance roles, plus strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years rotating machinery experience, or 10+ years in maintenance of large rotating machinery.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Detailed knowledge of compressors, turbines, pumps and fans is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre TAR planning and TAR execution.
• Follow up reports and external shop monitoring of components; make repair recommendations.
• Support CTE Guidance Documents and review RCA reports for process safety and reliability.
• Lead and/or participate in incident investigations and drive continuous improvement in reliability.
• Provide operations support to LI entities and collaborate with vendors and OEMs.
• Assist in design reviews and act as design authority when required.
• Mentor and train employees to expand rotating machinery knowledge.
