Job summary

ADM Mechanical in Decatur, IL is seeking a Gearbox/Rotating Equipment Repair Tech for day shift. The role is full-time and hourly, with experience-based pay and opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities include disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment to OEM specs, plus documentation and testing after service. A high school diploma and safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience disassembling/assembling industrial rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble equipment to remove parts and perform repairs.
• Examine parts for defects and wear; replace as needed.
• Repair or replace broken components and reassemble equipment.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed with accuracy.
• Test run equipment and take vibration readings after repair.
