Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an Equipment Technician to collect, analyze, and report the health of rotating equipment across multiple sites using vibration, thermography, oil analysis, and performance data. You will work with operations, engineers, and maintenance to troubleshoot, schedule repairs, and lead root cause analysis using TapRoot, while supporting lubrication programs and SAP reporting.

Required education includes a high school diploma or GED, with 0–4+ years in oil and gas operations;

Qualifications

  • Experience commensurate with the selected job level, in oil & gas operations.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain vibration analysis program and data routes.
  • Perform rotating and/or reciprocating equipment analysis.
  • Lead root cause failure analysis using TapRoot.
  • Coordinate scheduling of repairs and monitor field work.
  • Support lubrication program and analyze lubricant samples.
  • Report equipment deficiencies in SAP and recommend corrective actions.
