Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Experience as plant owner’s employee in a continuous process industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for rotating equipment selection, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and long-term reliability.
• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and provide technical support for major capital projects.
• Conduct performance analysis of rotating equipment to identify deviations and develop resolutions.
• Develop and apply reliability strategies such as risk-based maintenance, root cause analysis and spare parts reviews.
• Partner with vendors to resolve technical problems and develop new solutions.
• Develop the rotating equipment engineering repair scope for outages and major maintenance events.
• Lead development and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs for rotating equipment.
