Job summary

Cenovus is seeking a Millwright Maintenance professional to repair, maintain, and install rotating equipment in an outdoor process facility under the Maintenance Department. Work may be inside or outside in varying weather, and is physically demanding.

Required are a journeyman millwright license or related technical degree, 3+ years of experience, and the ability to pass tests. The deadline is Sept 6, 2026; applications to [e-mail] are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Journeyman Millwright License/Certificate or a related technical degree
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in installation and/or maintenance of rotating equipment in an industrial environment
• Understanding of blueprints, isometric drawings, P&ID’s, and technical diagrams
• Ability to satisfactorily pass any applicable written or field tests and training as required by the Company

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on rotating equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair rotating equipment; participate in daily rotating meetings
• Provide support to engineering for projects, field walks, and knowledge-based tasks; assist planners and schedulers
• Complete installations on rotating equipment and develop rotating procedures; support turnaround activities
• Work at heights and with lift equipment (scissor lifts, bucket trucks, arial lifts)
• Contribute to Cenovus safety culture and standards
• Keep current on pumps, turbines, compressors and other rotating equipment standards and policies
