Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering with 5 years minimum of experience in plant maintenance or plant engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and SAP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protection of the environment and health and safety of employees, customers, and communities as priority.
• Ensure Process Safety and Risk Management objectives are applied daily (MOC, PHA, PHA Hunter, PSSR).
• Establish and implement the Rotating Equipment Maintenance program per guidelines and regulations.
• Keep REM program guidelines current across Houston Operations and ensure proper practices.
• Develop, track, and communicate action plans for REM tasks and report REM status to plant management.
• Coordinate contract services for REM activities as required.
• Conduct audits of REM program elements to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide training and coaching to hourly personnel in repairs and preventative maintenance.
