Job summary

Baker Hughes Holdings LLC invites applications for a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer / Rotating Equipment Field Engineer. The role focuses on diagnosing machinery health from vibration data and performing rotor dynamic analysis at customer sites.

Travel up to 70% is required and a mechanical engineering degree with 2+ years' experience is preferred. You will join Cordant’s team, apply HS&E standards, prepare technical reports, and build trusted relationships while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering a plus).
• 2+ years of industry experience with large rotating equipment.
• Willing to travel up to 70% and work significant overtime.
• Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain).
• TWIC eligibility.
• Occasional overseas travel and offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems based on vibration data and customer communications.
• Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.
• Prepare timely reports identifying findings and recommendations.
• Build relationships with customers as trusted advisor for rotating equipment health.
• Calculate and oversee balance weights.
• Apply HS&E standards and procedures.
