Job summary

Cordant from Baker Hughes is seeking a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer to service critical rotating equipment and perform rotor-dynamic condition assessments for customers. You will address vibration and operational data, delivering actionable recommendations at the site.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years’ experience with large rotating equipment, travel up to 70%, a valid driver's license and passport, and willingness to obtain TWIC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with large rotating equipment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems from vibration and data.
• Travel to customer sites for servicing.
• Prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with customers as trusted advisor.
• Calculate and oversee balance weights placement.
• Apply HS&E standards and procedures.
