Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer to support rotating equipment health at customer sites. You will analyze rotor dynamics, perform vibration assessments, and deliver service solutions for protection and monitoring systems.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, 2+ years in rotating equipment, and willingness to travel extensively. This role requires HS&E compliance and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years working with large rotating equipment (turbines, compressors, fans).
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and work overtime as needed.
• Eligible for TWIC and passport.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems using vibration and operational data.
• Travel to customer sites to provide service and support.
• Prepare timely reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor.
