Job summary

QTEC Aerospace in Huntsville, AL seeks a Rotary-Wing Maintenance & Readiness Analyst to support CBM+/HUMS efforts for military aircraft. You will analyze maintenance and readiness data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.

The ideal candidate has significant rotary-wing maintenance experience, strong data-analysis skills, and proficiency with Python, MATLAB, SQL and Excel. On-site, with a DoD SECRET clearance, you’ll influence fleet readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required with at least 10 years of maintenance experience.
• Must be able to support on-site daily and work in Huntsville, AL.
• Strong data-analysis skills applied to maintenance and readiness data (CBM+/HUMS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze rotary wing maintenance, reliability, readiness, and HUMS/IVHMS data.
• Apply CBM+, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance principles.
• Use analytical tools (Python, MATLAB, SQL, Excel) to trend and visualize data.
• Correlate HUMS data with maintenance history and operational usage.
• Identify fleet-level trends and recommend maintenance or engineering actions.
• Create dashboards, reports, and briefings for maintainers, engineers, and leadership.
