Job summary

International Paper in Fort Worth, TX, invites applications for the Ward 3 Assistant Operator (Rotary Die Cutter) on the 2nd shift (2:20pm-10:50pm, Mon-Fri). You will operate and monitor the die cutter, perform setup, adjustments and basic repairs to ensure production runs meet specifications.

You will follow safety and quality policies, keep records, and may train other operators. Requires basic arithmetic, English literacy, and experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler.
• Ability to read manufacturing orders.
• Knowledge of reading, adjusting, and recording PH, viscosity charts & caliper.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently per work methods.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed.
• Identify and correct product defects caused by the machine.
• Perform routine adjustments to maintain production.
• Set up and operate machine to meet specifications.
• Ensure orders meet specifications including special instructions.
• Conduct basic repairs to the machine.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards.
• Run machine to meet production goals.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work area.
• Follow safety and quality policies.
