Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Robotics Mechanical Engineer for Rotary Actuator Systems to own design, development, and deployment of next‑gen rotary actuators for robotic platforms across fulfillment sites.

You will drive motor architectures, FEA simulations, prototype testing and production validation with a focus on high torque density and reliability. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor engineers, and ensure manufacturability and serviceability in high‑volume

Qualifications

• Experience drafting functional specs, verification plans and test procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication.
• Experience with CAD and prototype testing; able to troubleshoot hardware issues.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical and EM design of custom motors with topology and FEA.
• Develop roadmaps for next-gen rotary actuator systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality for launches.
• Mentor junior engineers and document designs.
