Job summary

Admiral Beverage is hiring a Merchandiser in Roswell, New Mexico to professionally display beverage merchandise on shelves and sales floors. You will follow plans approved by management and set up price and descriptive signage to maximize visibility and sales.

Key duties include organizing product placement, transferring stock to displays, placing orders to avoid stockouts, and communicating with store personnel to address service needs. POS materials are used to assemble compelling displays.

Responsibilities

• Arranges products according to prearranged plan or management approval.
• Places price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfers product from stock room to floor displays to comply with Sell By dates.
• Orders product for assigned accounts to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
• Originates display ideas or follows schedules from Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicates daily with key store personnel on service or product needs.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company POS materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor at any time.

Job Description

Primary Location:

Roswell, New Mexico

Merchandiser: Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store by performing the following duties.

• Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
• Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
• Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
• Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
