Job summary

The Garces Group is seeking a Shift Supervisor for Rosa Blanca Cafe at Dilworth Park to oversee daily service and uphold our standards of hospitality.

You will lead a front-of-house team, ensure a clean work environment, manage beverage service and cash handling, train staff, handle guest concerns, and maintain a friendly professional presence throughout an 8–10 hour shift. This role requires flexibility for nights and weekends and a commitment to knowledge of our procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean work environment for staff and patrons across each shift
• Provide proper beverage service
• Assist with training and scheduling of team members
• Manage all cash handling and daily financial reporting
• Resolve guest issues promptly and positively
• Maintain a friendly demeanor while on duty
• Follow written and verbal directions precisely
• Work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism
• Stand or walk for an 8–10 hour shift
• Learn and apply company products and procedures knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage recipe and presentation standards
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
• Serve and ring in customer transactions

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring a clean work environment for staff and patrons throughout every shift
• Responsible for providing proper beverage service
• Handles some training and scheduling of other employees
• Manages all cash handling and financial reporting for the day
• Manages all guest issues and concerns and ensures a positive timely resolution
• Must have a friendly demeanor when present in the cafe
• Ability to follow directions and written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere while keeping a professional demeanor
• Ability to perform other related tasks designated from the management
• Ability to stand or walk during the entire 8-10 hour shift
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of companies products and procedures
• Provides quality knowledge of all food and beverage recipe and presentation standards
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Serve & ring in customer transactions
