Job summary

Doppelmayr USA, Inc. seeks a Ropeway Project Engineer II in Salt Lake City to support civil, structural, and ropeway projects. You will develop foundation drawings, steel components, and ropeway profiles, using NX/SolidWorks and 2D CAD tools to meet project requirements.

The role involves applying ASCE-7 loads, AISC/ACI-318 standards, and Doppelmayr guidelines. Travel up to 10% may be required; strong collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with 2–4 years of relevant experience or Master's with 0–2 years.
• EIT certification (FE exam) with supervision under a PE.
• Strong grasp of ASCE-7, AISC, and ACI-318 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design concrete foundations for terminals, towers, and related infrastructure.
• Design structural steel components and ropeway-related structures.
• Apply rope line design and perform loads per ASCE-7 and Doppelmayr standards.
• Prepare calculations, specs, and drawings for permitting and construction.
• Collaborate with international teams and travel up to 10%.
