Austin Industrial is seeking a Safety Technician to join our Pasadena TX-based team, working on-site in Freeport, TX, to uphold safe operations across industrial facilities. You will conduct safety inspections, guide workers on procedures, implement safety programs, monitor PPE usage, and investigate incidents.

The role requires 2+ years of Rope-HSE experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Safety Technician to join our staff located at Pasadena TX. They must be able to engage in a critical role in ensuring a safe work environment.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Provide guidance on safety procedures and practices to workers and supervisors.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and programs.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce its proper use.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of previous experience in Rope-HSE (Safety Technician) role implementing and overseeing aspects related to an environmental, health and safety program.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• CSST
• Meet physical demands as listed above
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment
