Job summary

Valcourt in Chicago, IL is seeking an Experienced Window Cleaning Technician to perform exterior window cleaning on high-rise buildings, using brushes, squeegees, and cleaning solutions. Morning shift from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Duties include rope descent system or scaffolding access up to 500 feet, ladder setup for 2nd and 3rd story windows, and handling mildly abrasive cleaning chemicals. Requires high school diploma and good communication; overtime and occasional weekend/night

Qualifications

• Good communication and customer services skills.
• Availability for overtime and possible weekend or night work.
• Valid Driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use either a Rope Descent System or scaffolding to reach outside windows up to 500 feet for cleaning or hold and maneuver up to 60' of watered extension poles (~25 pounds) to clean third and fourth floor windows.
• Setup and climb ladders to reach second and third story windows.
• Work with and/or transport mildly abrasive chemically based cleaning solutions such as chlorine and ammonia.
