Job summary

Turner Specialty Services, LLC is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians with IRATA/SPRAT certification for long term assignments in Whiting, IN. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs and other industrial tasks on petrochemical equipment while on ropes, with emphasis on safety and communication.

The ideal candidate will hold IRATA/SPRAT Level I-III, possess a TWIC card, NCCER certification, be able to lift 75 pounds, and pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• IRATA / SPRAT Level I-III certification required.
• TWIC Card required.
• NCCER Certification required.
• Ability to work at height and lift 75 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access maintenance, repairs and tasks on industrial equipment.
• Follow IRATA/SPRAT standards and safety procedures.
• Use PPE and ensure team safety at all times.
• Conduct hazard recognition and report unsafe conditions.
• Participate in training and maintain rope access proficiency.
• Inspect rope access systems and components before use.
• Assist in rescue operations as certified.
• Move and operate in challenging access areas.
