Job summary

Turner Specialty Services, LLC seeks experienced Rope Access Technicians for long-term duties in the Baton Rouge, LA region. The role demands performing rope-based maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment with strong safety discipline.

Applicants should hold IRATA/SPRAT certification, API certifications, and active NDE credentials. The position requires physical fitness, the ability to pass background checks, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• IRATA/SPRAT certification at any level (I/II/III) is required.
• API 510/570/653 certifications preferred or required as applicable.
• Current TWIC card and active NDE certifications required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet site safety requirements (PPE, harness, respirator) and height work capacity.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access maintenance, repairs, and other industrial tasks on assets.
• Ensure safety by adhering to IRATA/SPRAT standards and OSHA procedures.
• Inspect rope access systems, equipment, and PPE before use.
• Communicate hazards to supervisor and participate in required training.
• Carry out rescue procedures and assist in technical reports as needed.
