Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians with API certifications for long-term assignments in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The role involves performing maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment using rope access, while adhering to IRATA/SPRAT and site safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, IRATA/SPRAT Level I-III, API certifications (510/570/653), and a current TWIC card.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• IRATA/SPRAT certification at I/II/III levels required.
• API 510/570/653 certifications preferred or required.
• TWIC card and active NDE certifications required.
• Must hold active API certifications and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope-access maintenance, repairs and installations on industrial equipment.
• Adhere to IRATA/SPRAT standards and enforce site safety rules.
• Inspect rope-access systems and report hazards to supervisor.
• Assist in rescues and maintain proficiency in rope techniques.
• Complete required documentation and safety logs.
